‘Wicked: For Good’: How to Watch Ariana Grande and Cynthia Erivo’s Musical Sequel at Home
Written by admin on November 24, 2025
I’ve heard it said that Wicked: For Good has finally come into our lives a year after the release of part one. But you probably already know that, given the highly anticipated musical sequel has already surpassed the first Wicked movie with the biggest box office debut for a Broadway adaptation. It’s fair to say Ariana Grande and Cynthia Erivo are pretty popular with the masses…Okay, I’ll stop with the Wicked pun in just a clock tick.
But what if you’ve already paid $20 (plus the cost of popcorn and a soda) during opening weekend or just don’t want to drive to the theater? Thank goodness there are plenty of ways to enjoy the Wizard of Oz origin story based on the 1995 novel Wicked: The Life and Times of the Wicked Witch of the West by Gregory Maguire.
Here’s how to watch Wicked: For Good—and everything you can actually stream at home—right now.
How to watch Wicked: For Good right now:
Wicked: For Good is now in movie theaters. You can check your local listings and buy tickets in advance on sites like Fandango, or directly through AMC and Regal.
When will Wicked: For Good be available to stream at home?
There has been no official announcement, though it will likely follow a similar timeline as the first film, which hit theaters on November 22, 2024, was available to purchase and rent on Amazon Prime on December 31 of that year, alongside a sing-along version, movie commentary, and plenty of bonus footage in the form of deleted scenes and a 40-minute documentary.
As for streaming, Wicked stans were able to watch the movie on Peacock as early as March 21, 2025.
Meanwhile, Wicked is easier to watch than ever right now.
Amazon Prime subscribers are now able to stream Wicked for free, along with all the aforementioned bonus footage. For those without a subscription, you can rent Wicked for $3.99 or purchase the film for $9.99 on Amazon Prime or Apple TV.

Plus, you can listen to the For Good soundtrack right now.
Need to hear “No Good Deed” and “As Long As Your Mine” right now? Listen to the Wicked: For Good soundtrack on Spotify or Apple Music! The soundtrack also includes the film’s two additional tracks by Stephen Schwartz: Elphaba’s anthem, “No Place Like Home,” and Glinda’s ballad, “The Girl in the Bubble.”
While director John M. Chu told The New York Times that these songs were created to deepen our understanding of these characters, it also makes the film eligible to be nominated best original song at this year’s Oscars. Thank goodness!
