TikTok continues its expansion into long-form podcasting with the second episode of ‘TikTok in the Mix’ featuring special guest Megan Moroney.

After the successful launch of its new live podcast series late last year, TikTok continues that momentum with another foray into long-form podcasting with a focus on music. “TikTok in the Mix,” a four-episode season of conversations with artists shaping the culture right now, debuts its second episode tonight, February 18, at 6 PM PT. This episode will feature breakout country star Megan Moroney.

Hosted by Jack Coyne of Trackstar, “TikTok in the Mix” sees artists open up about their creative process, their world beyond the stage, and the TikTok trends that have helped fuel their rise to fame. The series promises sharp insights, candid stories, and behind-the-scenes content.

In episode two, Megan Moroney sits down with Jack to unpack the story behind her rise as the “Emo Cowgirl,” from her path into the music business to the making of her forthcoming album, Cloud 9. She will also share a few “delightfully unexpected” details, including the meaning behind some of her new lyrics.

Moroney’s rise on TikTok has been instrumental to her ascension as an artist. The artist has built a community of 2.9 million followers, with her posts earning over 111 million likes. Her fan-favorite track “Bless Your Heart” has become a TikTok anthem, inspiring over 1.5 million creations and generating nearly one billion views across the platform.

The first episode of “TikTok in the Mix” debuted on December 11, featuring multi-hyphenate artist Demi Lovato, who talked about the process of recording her latest album, Not That Deep, and shared the meanings behind some of her most famous lyrics.

“TikTok is the home of music discovery—a place where artists and fans meet, creating music culture and driving chart-topping hits all over the world,” said Tracy Gardner, Global Head of Music Business Development for TikTok. “‘TikTok in the Mix’ is our way of celebrating that artist-fan connection, giving artists space to share their journeys and giving fans a deeper look at moments that shape music culture.”

The first season of “TikTok in the Mix” is co-produced and sponsored by T-Mobile, and comprises four 30-minute episodes streamed live on TikTok in order to connect artists and their fans in real time.
