Joining us on the Battlefield?

- by Ben Kerry

Welcome to another weekend! It’s going to be a busy one here at Pure Xbox HQ as we get stuck into Battlefield 6 and plenty of other Xbox-related goodness – we’re looking forward to getting some gaming time in over the next few days, to say the least!
Here’s what we’re playing this weekend:
Ben Kerry, Staff Writer
As I’ve just alluded to up at the top – Battlefield 6 is my top priority this weekend. I want to get stuck into some public matches before delivering my review verdict, so finishing up the campaign and diving deep into multiplayer is on my to-do list over the next few days.
High-powered sniper rifles and crumbling buildings aside, I must admit that my other half has been getting seriously addicted to Supermarket Simulator on Xbox Game Pass – and it’s tempting me into playing it as well. Even if I don’t go hands on with that one this weekend, I’ll certainly be absorbing plenty of it – she can’t get enough of supermarket simming on my Series X right now!
Have a nice weekend, folks.

Most of my gaming time this weekend is going to be spent playing something I can’t talk about right now. Let’s just gloss over that, shall we? The other game that’s on the list is LEGO Party, which I’ve been enjoying to a degree with my wife over the past couple of weeks – it’s no Mario Party, but it’s nice to get a unique take on the formula.
To be honest, I’m playing lots of things at the moment that might get a look-in – Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, South of Midnight, DOOM: The Dark Ages, Indiana Jones and the Great Circle and many others. I’ve finally given Shadow of the Tomb Raider a chance as well (didn’t really like Rise), and I’m very much enjoying it after a couple of hours.
Have a great weekend, folks!
