‘Morning Show’ Producer Media Res Hires Dave Binegar, Kristen Kuroski in Senior Vice President Roles (EXCLUSIVE)

Media Res has brought on both Dave Binegar and Kristen Kuroski as senior vice presidents, Variety has learned exclusively.

Binegar will serve as senior vice president of scripted development for the production company, while Kuroski will be the senior vice president of business affairs and legal.

Binegar will report to Media Res’ president of scripted development, Lindsey Springer, and will be responsible for overseeing production and development across the Media Res portfolio. Kuroski will negotiate deals for Media Res’ scripted productions and will report to Sandra Dewey, the chief operating officer.

“Dave is a fantastic addition to our growing team,” said Springer. “His creative eye combined with an extensive track record in developing high-quality scripted content will be instrumental to our success as we grow our slate and work with new partners.”

Binegar was most recently the head of TV for Jax Media, overseeing their development slate and executive producing the Channel 4 comedy “Everyone Else Burns.” He spent almost 10 years at Showtime prior to that, where he worked on shows like “Yellowjackets,” “Your Honor,” “Dexter: New Blood,” and “Fellow Travelers.”

Kuroski was previously the senior vice president of TV business and legal affairs for MRC, where she contributed to work on shows like “Ozark,” “The Terminal List,” and “Poker Face.” She has also held roles at Fremantle and Sony Pictures Television.
