Light Novel ‘Yuukyuu no Gusha Asley no, Kenja no Susume’ Gets TV Anime Adaptation

Production company Bushiroad Move announced a television anime adaptation of Hifumi‘s Yuukyuu no Gusha Asley no, Kenja no Susume (The Principle of a Philosopher by Eternal Fool “Asley”) light novel on Thursday, revealing a teaser visual (pictured).
Hifumi began penning the fantasy novel on the Shousetsuka ni Narou website in January 2015. Earth Star Entertainment began publishing the novel under its Earth Star Novels imprint with illustrations by Kurihito Mutou in September 2015 and published the 14th and final volume in December 2019.
Fuu Araki began drawing a manga adaptation on Comic Earth☆Star platform in April 2017. Earth Star Entertainment published the 12th volume in June 2025, with the 13th volume planned for a February 12 release.
J-Novel Club licensed the manga for digital release in English in April 2024 and published the seventh volume in December 2025, with the eight volume scheduled for a March 25 release.
Synopsis
Through the accidental creation of a divine elixir known as “Eternity Elixir,” Asley gains an immortal body, free from the passage of time.
