A junior varsity football coach at Lewiston High School has been arrested following allegations of sexual abuse involving a minor, according to court records.
Authorities say Ty Lewis, 18, was taken into custody last week after a minor contacted law enforcement and provided text messages that were allegedly sexual in nature. Court documents also allege the minor reported that Lewis sent a pornographic video during the 2025 football season.
Lewis was booked into the Nez Perce County Jail and was released Wednesday after posting a $50,000 bond.
Court records indicate Lewis is scheduled to return to court on Feb. 25. The investigation remains ongoing.
