Former Lionsgate Games creative director joins Blumhouse Games

Newsbrief: Amanda Kruse, former creative director at Lionsgate Games, head of development at Hivemind, and head of business development at Big Fan Games, has joined Blumhouse Games.

The publisher has tapped Kruse as the new VP, business development for the vertical. Announced via a press release, the veteran games executive will build and grow relationships with “world-class multimedia partners” in interactive entertainment.

“Amanda’s deep understanding of games, her eye for transmedia storytelling, and her passion for pushing creative boundaries make her an ideal addition to Blumhouse,” said Blumhouse Games president Zach Wood. “Her cross-media experience will help us continue to shape bold, distinctive interactive worlds.”

Some of Kruse’s previous works include Hellboy Web of Wyrd, John Wick Hex, Power Rangers: Battle for the Grid, Blair Witch, and integrations with Fortnite and Dead by Daylight.
