Children of Kim Porter and Sean “Diddy” Combs Denounce Alleged Memoir

Written by on September 26, 2024

The children of the late model Kim Porter and music mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs have publicly criticized a purported memoir attributed to their mother, which contains explicit sexual content involving celebrities and allegations of abuse against Porter. The book, titled “Kim’s Lost Words: A Journey for Justice, From the Other Side…”, was recently published on Amazon under the name Jamal T. Millwood, later revealed to be investigative journalist Chris Todd. However, the authenticity of the alleged entries remains uncertain.

In a joint statement posted on Instagram, Porter’s four children, Quincy, Christian, Jessie, and D’Lila, refuted claims that their mother wrote the book, stating that she did not. They also emphasized that anyone claiming to possess a manuscript is misrepresenting themselves and does not have their mother’s best interests at heart. Combs’ attorney, Erica Wolf, has described the book as fake, offensive, and a shameless attempt to profit from tragedy. Porter’s family is reportedly considering legal action.

Despite the book’s questionable content and numerous typos, it reached the top spot on Amazon’s Literature & Fiction list following Combs’ recent indictment on sex trafficking, racketeering, and prostitution-related charges. The author’s pen name, Jamal T. Millwood, has sparked conspiracy theories suggesting it is an alias used by the late rapper Tupac Shakur, who is also mentioned in the book. However, the book was self-published by Todd Christopher Guzze, also known as Chris Todd.

Close friends of Porter, Kimora Lee Simmons and Lawanda Lane, have stated that they do not know the author and believe every page in the book to be false. They also cast doubt on whether Porter was working on a memoir before her death, highlighting her private nature.

The statement released by Porter’s children did not address the recent scrutiny surrounding Combs following his arrest and federal indictment. Instead, they focused on their mother’s death, asserting that there was no foul play involved and requesting respect for her memory. They expressed deep sadness over the public spectacle surrounding their mother’s tragic passing and urged everyone to remember her as the beautiful, strong, kind, and loving woman she was.

In the wake of Combs’ arrest, questions regarding him and those associated with him have proliferated. Quincy’s father, Al B. Sure!, who is mentioned in the book, has called for a renewed investigation into Porter’s death and labeled the memoir as calculated fiction. Al B. Sure! made additional allegations about Combs, suggesting that Porter’s potential to expose personal abuses, sex trafficking, and human trafficking posed a threat to those profiting from such activities.

As lawsuits against Combs have mounted since Cassie Ventura’s public accusations in November, a former bodyguard alleged in a recent interview that the music producer was physically abusive towards both Ventura and Porter.
