‘Ao no Orchestra Season 2’ Unveils More Cast, New Visual

The official website of the Ao no Orchestra Season 2 (Blue Orchestra Season 2) television anime unveiled six additional cast members and a new visual (pictured) on Monday. The anime series adapting Makoto Akui‘s musical drama manga premiered on October 5 at 5:00 p.m. on NHK-E.

Seiji Kishi (Youkoso Jitsuryoku Shijou Shugi no Kyoushitsu e) returns to direct the second season at Nippon Animation. Other returning staff include series composer Yuuko Kakihara (Ao no Hako), character designer Kazuaki Morita (Onmyou Kaiten Re:Birth), music composer Akira Kosemura (Honey Lemon Soda), and sound director Satoki Iida (Apocalypse Hotel).

Akui began drawing the manga on the MangaONE application in April 2017 and in Ura Sunday magazine the following month. Shogakukan published the 13th volume on October 17.
