“Today” show host Savannah Guthrie’s missing mother desperately needs daily medication to survive, authorities said Monday — adding they now believe the 84-year-old is the victim of a crime.

Nancy Guthrie “is in need of medication, medication that if she doesn’t have it in 24 hours, it could be fatal,” said Pima County, Ariz., Sheriff Chris Nanos.

“So we make a plea to anyone who knows anything about this, who has seen something, heard something to contact us, to call 911,” Nanos said at a press conference.

“She needs her daily medication.

“We don’t need another bad tragic ending. We need some help,” Nanos said.

Jenna Bush Hager, the co-host of another NBC morning show, said on-air Monday that she personally knows Nancy and that it is “likely” the elderly woman is without her medication.

“We need to start the show with something that is deeply personal for us this morning,” Bush Hager, 44, said in an emotional open to “Today With Jenna & Sheinelle,” which airs after Guthrie’s.
