Voting Is Now Open on Mega Man: Dual Override's Boss Design Competition 1

Capcom is busy plugging away at its upcoming action platformer Mega Man: Dual Override, but it’s delegated one job to the fans.

You may recall the publisher has continued a long-held tradition in which it holds a design competition for one of the game’s bosses.

Submissions closed a while ago, and now, Capcom has shortlisted 20 of the best fan-made designs for the next phase.

Part of that includes votes from the public, and voting is open from now until 5th February 2026.

There are plenty of fantastic options to choose from; we’re quite partial to Design Q (Cactus Man) as it’s rather different to the rest, and the colours of Design E (Osoji Man) really pop.

Whichever design tickles your fancy, there’s just a few days to have your say, and those who do vote get three Mega Man icons as a reward. You’ll need Capcom ID to vote.

After this voting period is over, Capcom will reveal the six finalists in March, and it’ll be a design from these six that will be officially developed for Dual Override.

Which is your favourite from the 20 submissions? Tell us in the comments section below.
