TikTok announces music guest Ciara and unveils new hosts for the upcoming Creator Awards at the Hollywood Palladium on December 18.
TikTok’s first-ever U.S. edition of its awards show kicks off on Thursday, December 18, streaming live from the Hollywood Palladium on TikTok Live and official streaming partner Tubi. The short-form video platform has announced musical headliner Ciara and the event’s red carpet hosts and correspondents, rounding out the previously announced hosts and presenters.
“This lineup showcases the creativity, energy, and cultural impact that define TikTok for 170 million people across the country,” the company’s announcement reads. “Ciara’s performance is sure to have everyone in the Palladium and tuning in on Live at home Get Up out of their seats and Lose Control as she performs some of her greatest hits.”
“There’s nothing like performing for a community that loves movement, music, and expression as much as I do. The TikTok platform plays a significant role in entertainment. It is one of the most influential platforms in the world. The TikTok Awards are all about celebrating that spirit, and I’m honored to hit the stage for the first-ever show in the U.S.,” shared Ciara.
The 2025 TikTok Awards will honor creators who have “inspired, entertained, and connected communities across the country.” Categories include Creator of the Year presented by Paris Hilton, Music of the Year Presenter (Public Figure) presented by Jools Lebron, My Show is On Award (TV/Film) presented by Trixie Mattel, and The Rising Star of the Year Award presented by title sponsor e.l.f. Cosmetics.
It all kicks off at 5 PM PT on December 18 on TikTok Live, where red carpet hosts Dylan Kevitch, Hannah Kosh, and Taylor King will be on the scene to greet arrivals and offer a first look into everything going on at the first U.S. edition of the TikTok Awards.
The ceremony will be presented in front of a live audience of hundreds of creators, beginning at 6 PM PT on TikTok Live and on Tubi. Additionally, the ceremony will be available on demand on Tubi the following day.
