The official website of the Love Live! Hasunosora Jogakuin School Idol Club Movie: Bloom Garden Party anime movie revealed the production staff, a key visual (pictured), and teaser trailer on Sunday. The idol-musical anime movie will open in Japanese theaters on May 8, 2026.

Billed as the first virtual school idol project in the Love Live! franchise, the unit originates from the Link! Like! Love Live! smartphone app, which was released by ODD No. Inc. in April 2023. The unit released its first single, Dream Believers, in March 2023.

The Love Live! franchise launched in June 2010 with its first anime series, Love Live! School Idol Project, debuting in Winter 2013. The fourth and latest anime series, Love Live! Superstar!!, aired its third season in Fall 2024.
