2026 Land Rover Lineup: Big Moves, Bold Looks, and One Delay
Written by admin on November 29, 2025
It looks like we’ll have to wait a bit longer for the long-promised Range Rover Electric. After a rocky 2025, Jaguar Land Rover is still committed to rolling out EVs across its lineup by 2030 and phasing out combustion engines by 2036, but its first electric Range Rover has been pushed to early 2026.
In the meantime, there’s no shortage of updates. Across the Defender, Discovery, and Range Rover lines, JLR doubles down on richer trims, darker design themes, more immersive tech, and expanded customization. With upgraded screens, added safety features, fresh special editions, and new bespoke options, every Land Rover model sees meaningful changes for 2026. Read on to see what’s new across the lineups.
All 2026 Defender body styles receive revised lighting, flush, smoked taillights, and a new front LED signature, plus updated wheel designs and new colors including Borasco Grey and Woolstone Green. Inside, every Defender now runs a larger 13.1-inch infotainment screen with updated software.
Land Rover also broadens the lineup with new special editions. The 110 Trophy Edition pays homage to Camel Trophy rigs with Deep Sandglow Yellow or Keswick Green paint, a roof rack and ladder, external gear carriers, a raised air intake, and protective mudflaps. The Octa Black model brings a darker, more aggressive aesthetic with exclusive trim details.
MotorTrend Ranked: #5 in luxury midsize SUVs (2025 model).

2026 Land Rover Discovery
The Discovery lineup expands with two new trims, Tempest and Gemini, plus fresh wheel designs and lifestyle-focused accessory packs. New wheel options include a Dark Grey 22-inch Style 5124 rim with Gloss Black accents and, on the Dynamic SE, a 21-inch black Style 5123 wheel.
The Discovery Tempest introduces a darker, more technical look with Charente Grey, Varesine Blue, or Carpathian Grey paint wrapped in a matte protective film. Petra Copper Gloss highlights the roof, vents, lower bumper, and badging, while model-specific accents appear on the B-pillars, treadplates, and puddle lamps. Inside, it features Shadow Aluminum trim and extended Ebony Windsor leather.
The Discovery Gemini takes a bolder approach with a Sedona Red exterior, Narvik Gloss Black roof, and Atlas Gloss grille and lettering. Unique graphics and interior finishes set it apart, and it rides on Diamond Turned Silver 21-inch Style 7001 wheels. A hands-free liftgate, console cooler, and four-zone climate control come standard.
Rounding out the updates are four new accessory packs: Beach Days, Road Trip, Snow Days, and Biking Adventures. They bundle themed gear like roof racks, crossbars, side steps, rubber mats, and media holders, making it easier to tailor the Discovery to a wide range of adventures.
