A 9-year-old boy nearly dies after suffering burns on his entire body, but recovers thanks to strong faith and support from his friends and community. The film is based on a book and on the true story of John O’Leary, who defied the odds after a devastating fire accident and went on to inspire millions through his message of hope and resilience. Today, O’Leary is a well-known speaker. It stars Joel Courtney, John Corbett, William H. Macy, and Masey McLain. Rated PG for thematic content including burn injuries, some peril, and suggestive material.
