The Double P dynasty is going strong. On Monday, Tito Double P and Peso Pluma announced their collaborative album, Dinastía, set to release on Christmas Day, Dec. 25.
The video opens with both stars arriving at a church, where a priest hands them luchador masks. After receiving his blessing, Peso and Tito step outside and each slides into their own sports car. The final shot shows them driving off in front of a church sign announcing the album title and release date, with “Feliz Navidad” displayed below.
Last month, the pair released the corrido “Intro,” kicking off their new era. Peso and Tito co-wrote the song, bringing Peso back to his corridos roots.
Peso and Tito have collaborated numerous times before, including on Génesis‘ standouts “La People” and “Gavilan II,” Éxodo‘s “Belanova” and “La People II,” Incómodo‘s “Dos Días,” and one-off single “Los Cuadros.” Tito has long been Peso’s right-hand songwriter. “It’s not an easy process to go from songwriter to singer,” Tito told Billboard in a June cover story. “At first, it was always ‘Peso Pluma’s cousin’ or ‘That guy writes for Peso.’ Eventually, I finally became Tito Double P.”
Dinastía will follow Tito’s breakthrough record Incómodo and Peso’s 2024 album Éxodo. The pair has teased releasing a joint album for months now.
